Grey Lynn Home Renovation

Having their family home grow around them was a key factor in our clients' decision to renovate their home. Their three growing children were needing their own spaces and their original home was beginning to feel cluttered. We were engaged to help them breathe life into their home so that could continue living there for many more years. 

The requirements for the renovation was to add a fourth bedroom for a family of growing children, a second bathroom, a dedicated laundry, more storage and a larger kitchen and living area. It was also highlighted that the relationshop between living spaces and the back yard could be improved.

Many options were explored. The challenge was to provide these improved spaces in a way that brought in more light and warmth and didn't overcomplicate the original 1920's bungalow.
